AIRPORT!

Today I'm leaving on a jet plane for Colorado to see my Abby!! I haven't seen her in a year (almost exactly). I am so excited to see her. But I will not be updating my blog while I am there, so you are just going to have to wait to see pictures.

I will be back on Monday, have a great weekend!!

Hunger Games Premier

Tonight was the midnight premier of the Hunger Games, now I have not read the books yet but that is man plan to do over spring break. Linnea and Christina went a couple of weeks ago to get the tickets, and they went to the best place. The AMC we went to had the biggest most incredible recliner chairs to watch the movie in.

And this wasn't even fully reclined! We watched in style, and
I am never going anywhere else to see a movie : D

(Of course my bumble bee was there with me too)

Tuesday/Wednesday: Lady Antebellum Concert!

Thompson Square + Darius Rucker + Lady Antebellum = Best Concert EVER!

It was absolutely incredible!!!

M-O-N-D-A-Y S-U-C-K-S
Mondays suck.
Especially today.

A whirl-wind of emotions in 24 hours would do that to you.
But on the bright side I woke up to see this outside my window:

Dear Kelsey,
Thank you for catching me after my fall last night.
I love you so much.
You are such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I wouldn't be where I am today without you.
Don't ever change, because you are an inspiration to the world.
Love, Megs

Sunday: Rachel's Senior Recital

Dear Miss Rachel,
You are incredible beyond belief! I am so lucky to have such an amazing talented friend like you in my life. WOWZERS!
You totally rocked your recital, and I was beaming in excitement and happiness for you!

Here are some of my favorite pictures I snagged afterwards.
Love you to the moon and back again!
Love, Megs

You are so great!

Saturday Part 2: St. Patty's Day

Green is not my favorite color, but I do love green cupcakes!

Linnea made Irish Car Bomb Cupcake for St. Patty's Day and they were freakin' delicious!!! The cupcake was make with Guinness, with a whiskey chocolate ganosh, and topped with Baileys frosting. HELLO!

I took over to frost the cupcakes and Molly added the sprinkles...TEAM WORK AT IT'S FINEST!

Molly and I sat around for most of the evening just eating the frosting though haha

She is an AMAZING cook! Look out Yummers, you got some competition!

Saturday Part 1: Regatta

Today was the first regatta of the season PLU vs. SPU. It was a gross weather day, snowing and raining at the same time but it was so much fun being there! I miss rowing everyday with every part of me, and I wish I never got hurt my sophomore year so I could still be rowing. I am so proud of my friends Abby and Rachel! We all started rowing together our freshman year and they are the only two from our class who rowed all 4 years. They are amazing and I look up to them so much! They are literally the strongest people I know and I wouldn't be the person I am today without them in my life. I wish I could see them more, but the times we are together I cherish the most : D

Here is a picture of the WV8 before their amazing race! They were so close to winning, I think they were about 5 seconds behind, but wither way it was an amazing race!

After the race and at the pancake breakfast with SPU. GO PLU CREW!

Unfortunately Abby left before I could get a picture with the three of us, so here is one from sophomore year at the annual erg-a-thon. I love you both so much!

Thursday/Friday

So I completely forgot to take a picture of COW at the NW-ACDA performance so instead I am going to post a bunch of pictures from the PLUtonic/HERmonic concert on Friday.

The concert was AMAZING! We had an absolute blast. PLUtonic sang: "Moves Like Jagger", "The Climb", "One Day", "Forget You" "I'd Fight For You", and "Let's Get It On."

HERmonic sang: "Run the World/Super Bass", "King of Anything", "Let It Be", "Don't Wanna Go Home", "Keep Me Close", "Call Your Girl Friend", "Jar of Hearts", and "Holding on for a Hero."

And we brought the house down!!

These pictures were taken in between our two concerts, we are normal I swear.

Wednesday: "ohhhhh yeah"

Today was quite the day. But here are the two highlights. Making and eating four boxed of craft macaroni and cheese with the wonderful Kelsey. SOOOO GOOOD! (Until I had to walk to choir, where I didn't really walk. It was more of a hobbling hunchback). I literally thought I was going to explode of mac 'n' cheese.

Then after going to a literary reading, I was informed it was pi day. (better late than never right!) So Erin had the magnificent idea to go get pie. Best decision ever! Not only was the pie delicious, but I also got to hang out with two of the coolest people I know!

I got the creamy chocolate caramel pecan crunch pie. HOT DAMN! It changed my life. Just look at it in all of its glory. Right!?!?!?!?

*drool*

Tuesday: Epic day

I have recently come to love garlic powder. I put it on everything, and to add to this obsession, I just tried garlic pepper...WOWZERS! So needless to say I made a pretty outstanding lunch today. And of course I was distracted from my lit reading because I just had to keep eating.

Later that evening I had an audition for vocal percussionist (aka beat boxer) position for a Seattle a capella group called 1standPike (who recently changed their name from Pitch Craft). It was in Seattle, and of course on my way there the weather went NUTS and was snowing/raining/winding the whole she-bang. But as I got closer to Seattle the sky cleared just enough for me to take this cool picture.

The audition was really fun! And I was accepted! I am no apart of not only Choir of the West and HERmonic, but now 1standPike...I'M SO EXCITED!!

When I got home, our neighbor Will was giving his cat Taco a bath. Now I hate cats, especially this one (mostly because he has red eyes). This probably will sound really weird, but I get the most pride and joy out of watching Taco get a bath, because he has the most glorious "I freakin' hate you" meows I have ever heard. It brings joy to my heart to hear it haha. Taco, thank you for supplying me with large amounts of laughter to end my day : D
