Lazy Sunday

Sunday we made the journey back home from ICCA which was in Eugene, OR and this was the evening sky:

I finally have my camera back!!

Alright, I have a lot to post about so here we go:
International Competition for Collegiate A capella was last Saturday and HERmonic performed the best we have ever  performed. I am so proud of us and all of our hard work, because it definitely paid off. We did not place in the top three, but we were chosen by one of the three judges of be 3rd place, which means we probably placed either 4th or 5th. Not to shabby for this being our second year.

Here is a picture of us performing at EHS the day before ICCA. (while we were at ICCA I actually did not take a single picture because we were rehearsing so much back stage)

Today we performed at Enumclaw High School. We sang a set of our old favorites and our ICCA set. It was a chance for us to perform for a live audience before going to compete. It was sooo much fun and really helpful!!

The only problem is, I left my camera there. So You are going to have to wait for the picture today.


Tomorrow we are off to Eugene, OR for ICCA so I will not be able to post tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Start and End the Day Under the Sun

Today, I took Linnea and Christina to the airport, and are now currently in Colorado to see our best friend Abby. I was going to go with them, but HERmonic has a performance tomorrow and competition tomorrow. So that was out of the question.

On the way to the airport there was a ton of traffic but an awesome sunrise:

Then I had HERmonic rehearsal from 9-5....YOWZA! But the sunset definitely made it so much better.

Yummies for Breakfast!

My sister surprised me yesterday by making our favorite breakfast, orange rolls. The only problem is she didn't grease the pan before she cooked them, so they didn't really come out of the pan...well.

Oh well, they were still delicious!
